Release of Liability

I understand and agree that—if my artwork(s) is selected to be displayed in the WHCL Virtual Gallery—that WHCL, its staff, volunteers, and resident artists shall have the sole and exclusive authority to display my work in such place(s) and under such conditions that they, in their sole discretion, may decide.

I do further agree that my work(s) may be photographed and posted in promotional materials (including the internet), West Hills Community College and the participating artists without compensation to me and without the need to obtain further written or verbal authority or approval from me.

This release and waiver of liability will bind me, and my heirs, successors, and assigns, and shall remain in effect so long as my artwork is displayed or stored on the WHCL Virtual Gallery. Artworks shall remain in the exhibit for the entirety of the show.

I do hereby expressly release and hold harmless West Hills Community Colleges (WHCCD), and all its staff, volunteers, and resident artists, individually and collectively, from liability for all damages resulting from the artwork that I am voluntarily submitting.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER AND UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY BETWEEN MYSELF, WEST HILLS COLLEGE LEMOORE VIRTUAL ART GALLERY, AND I SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
